Mercedes has revealed their smallest beast the A45 AMG ahead of it’s Official Debut at Geneva Motor Show.
The AMG little toy features a four cylinder turbocharge 2.0l engine capable of an impressive 360 hp (265 kW ) making it the most powerful production 4 cylinder ever, it also manages an awesome 450 Nm of torque between 2250 & 5000 rpm. the A45 can run from 0-62 mph in 4.6 sec, with electronically limited top speed of 155 ph (250 km/h)
Power is sent to All four wheels (4matic) through AMGs 7 speed DCT Speed Shift withthree driving programs, double-declutching function and Race Start, three-stage ESP, a three-link front setup and a four-link rear axle arrangement suspension setup.
The AMG braking system has perforated and ventilated discs on all four corners, with 350×32 mm discs at the front and 330 x 22 mm discs for the rear axle. The A45 AMG rides on 18-inch twin-spoke lightweight alloy wheels with 235/40 R18 tires but optionally available are two sets 19-inch wheels with 235/35 rubbers.
Various AMG individualization options will be available for the hot hatch, including (but not limited to) red-painted calipers, rear aerofoil, Exclusive Package, carbon fiber exterior mirror housing, Aerodynamics Package, Night Package and AMG Performance exhaust and suspension systems.
