Cadillac previews it’s 13.6 L V16 1000 hp Sixteen Hypercar at Amelia Concours d’Elegance


Cadillac will preview it’s Amazing Sixteen concept at next month’s Amelia Concours d’Elegance.

Originally debut at the 2003 Detroit Auto Show, the car is looked to be the star of the show As its name implies, the car is powered by a huge 16-cylinder 13.6-liter 32-valve engine linked to a four-speed automatic transmission powering the rear wheels.

2003 Cadillac Sixteen Concept

Cadillac says the engine (exclusive for this concept) has a minimum output of 1,000 HP (750 kW) and 1,000 lb-ft (1,354 Nm) of torque. Measuring 19-feet long, the Sixteen was fitted with four-wheel steering for easier turning maneuvers. It tips the scales at a whopping 2,270 kg (5,000 lbs).


In the last few years there were several rumors about putting the car into production but none of them came true.
